Hiram J. Holt, Esq. M.Ed.
About Me
Welcome to my law office. I specialize in estate planning and education law, bringing a robust blend of legal expertise and extensive educational experience to my practice. I earned my Juris Doctorate from Indiana University McKinney School of Law in 2014, which laid the foundation for my comprehensive understanding of the law. I have been practicing estate planning in Alabama for several years, focusing on trusts, wills, living wills, advanced directives, delegation of parental rights, and power of attorney. My professional journey includes serving as a Legislative Assistant for the Indiana State Senate, where I managed complex legislative activities, drafted legislation, and addressed constituent concerns for the Senate Education Committee.

In addition to my legal background, I bring over a decade of experience in education at the college, high school, and middle school levels, both as a teacher and as a college dean. My roles provide me with a unique understanding of education, encompassing what goes on inside and outside a classroom and the expectations of today's teachers. Furthermore, my personal experience with special education is not only as an educator but also as a parent. As such, I uniquely understand the challenges families today working for the best interest of their students. I am committed to providing my clients with exceptional legal services, to meet their unique needs and getting the services they deserve.
